England Golf South East Group Under 16s League Match
Versus BB&O & Bedfordshire
Bedford County Golf Club
A new venture began for the U16’s by moving away from opponents Norfolk & Suffolk that Essex had played against for years. This year’s league opponents are Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Middlesex and Bedfordshire. The first triangular match against BB&O and beds was held at the Bedford County Golf Club.
Playing in this league means that the team will find itself playing courses that they have not had the chance to play before. With that said, the team got off to a fantastic start by beating BB&O 7-1 and Bedfordshire 6-2.
Some fresh faces joined this year’s Essex team and didn’t disappoint with the good standard of golf to award the team with a win.
