Lambourne GC was the host for our 1st SE Group League Fixture for 2023. We were taking on Hertfordshire and the hosts BB&O. On a bright but breezy day the team produced an excellent performance and ran out winners of both matches in the now familiar triangular matchplay format. First out was Micah Blowers who secured a 3&2 victory over Hertfordshire's No.1 Ed Mason won a tight contest in match 2 while Charlie Rusbridge had am excellent 7&6 victory in match 3. Henry Styles was taken to the 18th before winning 1up and in match 5 Dawson Langan went down to a 3&1 defeat, before Mason Barningham, Ollie Baker and Boys Captain Marley Read rounded of an excellent 7-1 team victory with comfortable wins in their matches. We look forward to our second league match in July.
