A SPARKLING NIGHT AT THE FIRST ESSEX GOLF ANNUAL DINNER!
Last night saw the very first Essex Golf Annual County Dinner – hosted at the beautifully dressed Langdon Hills Golf Club. The function suite was transformed with fairy lights and white drapes, giving the whole room a wonderfully sparkly, celebratory feel.
MasterChef finalist Anurag Aggarwal created a special menu for the evening to kick off the celebrations.
Competition winners from across Essex were recognised and presented with their trophies. Sadly, not many ELCGA winners were there this year but the ladies from The Rayleigh Club more than made up for it – here they are proudly receiving the Harris Bowl from Steve Clarke Essex Golf President Elect.

It was also lovely to see several members of the former ELCGA Board in attendance – all spotted on the dance floor later in the night, proving they’ve still got the moves!
The whole evening had a great atmosphere, and we hope many more of you (and your partners!) will join us next year. The aim is to grow this into a proper county dinner & dance, bringing the whole Essex golf community together for a night of celebration, music and fun.
