Charlie Rusbridge Triumphs at Justin Rose Telegraph Junior Golf Championship
Essex golfer Charlie Rusbridge, who represents Colne Valley Golf Club, has enjoyed an outstanding international success after winning the prestigious Justin Rose Telegraph Junior Golf Championship, held recently at Quinta do Lago in Portugal.
The event, widely regarded as one of the leading junior championships in the calendar, brought together many of the most promising young golfers from across the UK and Europe. Competing over 54 holes, Charlie produced a composed and consistent performance to finish top of the leaderboard and secure the title.
Going into the final round in a strong position, Charlie handled the pressure superbly, maintaining his focus and control throughout the closing holes to complete a memorable victory on an international stage.
This latest achievement is another excellent milestone in Charlie’s junior career and reflects both his talent and his ability to perform in high-quality fields. His success also highlights the strength of junior golf within Essex, with players from county clubs continuing to make their mark at national and international level.
