Former football star and TV pundit Troy Deeney visited Burhill Golf Club to take on England Golf teenagers Ria Prabhakar and Aaron Moody – but things didn’t quite go to plan!
In an entertaining nine-hole showdown packed with enormous drives, sensational chip-ins and plenty of banter, Deeney faced two of England Golf’s brightest young talents. And flying the flag for Essex was Ria Prabhakar (West Essex) — a member of the Essex County Team and the England U16 squad.

Ria, who plays at West Essex Golf Club, enjoyed a sensational 2025 season. Her achievements included:
