Played @ South Herts on Monday 12th June which proved to be a difficult task trying to beat a very strong Hertfordshire Team
Unfortunately Essex lost 6 1/2 - 3 1/2
In the early stages of the matches we were doing really well but a severe electric storm came over causing everyone to shelter
for over an hour which seemed to stall our momentum & give a boost to the Herts players & we struggled after the delay
We now move onto Match 3 next Monday the 19th @ Upminster v Bedfordshire
